Inmate Finds Finger in Corn Bread
It's happened again! Finger food time!
This time, it was an inmate in a California prison. And he was a Buddhist to boot! That means he was a vegetarian, so this was a VERY bad thing for him to be chomping on. Of course, the whole vegetarian part of Buddhism comes from having right intentions, not doing harm and stuff like that, so I reallty don't think the Buddha would mind since it was an accident.
So now the inmate wants to sue. He hasn't eaten in days. Lost 15 pounds, blah blah blah. The food company admits that one of its employees did sever a fingertip when cleaning machinery, so this is no hoax, but STILL! Does an inmate really need to sue? And what kind of Buddhist is he? He thinks his vegetarianism is more important than forgiveness???
